Overview

The Wigton community has long supported Silloth Sunday Market and Car Boot Sale as a reliable local market — a place where sellers can clear space and buyers can find items they won’t see anywhere else.

Negotiating on price is a normal part of the car boot sale experience here — most sellers are happy to discuss, especially later in the day.

Why Visit Silloth Sunday Market and Car Boot Sale

  • The changing roster of sellers means you’re unlikely to see the same stock twice.
  • Low or no entry cost for buyers makes it a genuinely low-risk outing.
  • Well worth attending early in the season when sellers have cleared out storage after winter.
  • An open-air social experience that’s as much about atmosphere as it is about shopping.
