Overview

The Cranleigh community has long supported Cranleigh Showground as a reliable local market — a place where sellers can clear space and buyers can find items they won’t see anywhere else.

Negotiating on price is a normal part of the car boot sale experience here — most sellers are happy to discuss, especially later in the day.

Why Visit Cranleigh Showground

  • A visible, active local market that supports the local community economy.
  • Worth checking for tools, garden equipment, or sports gear — these categories often appear at car boot sales at lower prices than shops.
  • Well worth attending early in the season when sellers have cleared out storage after winter.
  • The changing roster of sellers means you’re unlikely to see the same stock twice.
