Craven Cattle Mart

Overview

Located in the Yorkshire & Lincolnshire area, Craven Cattle Mart on Gargrave Rd in Skipton is a well-established car boot sale where the variety and price of goods reflects the local community.

Practical household items sit alongside more unusual finds — it’s the unpredictability of the stock that keeps both buyers and sellers engaged.

Why Visit Craven Cattle Mart

• The changing roster of sellers means you’re unlikely to see the same stock twice.
• Worth checking for tools, garden equipment, or sports gear — these categories often appear at car boot sales at lower prices than shops.
• Haggling is welcome — bring cash and be prepared to negotiate.
• Support a local community market and give pre-loved items a second life.
